Sec. 1.
As used in 135 IAC 3, the following words and terms shall have the following meanings, unless the context shall indicate another or different meaning or intent.
"Authority" means the Indiana toll finance authority.
"Automobile" means any self-propelled two (2) axle vehicle designed for the transportation of people, including a bus with two (2) axles and without dual rear wheels.
"Axle" means the common axis of rotation of one (1) or more wheels, whether power driven or freely rotating, and whether in one (1) or more segments and regardless of the number of wheels carried thereon.
"Bicycle" means any vehicle irrespective of the number of wheels in contact with the ground which has the possibility of being foot propelled.
"Farm tractor" means every motor vehicle designed and used primarily as a farm implement for drawing farm machinery.
"Motorcycle" means every motorized vehicle designed to travel on not more than three (3) wheels in contact with the ground.
"Operator" means every person who drives, or is in actual physical control of a vehicle upon a toll bridge or who is exercising control over, or steering, a vehicle being towed or pushed by another vehicle.
"Pick-up-truck" means a self propelled, two (2) axle, four (4) wheel vehicle with an open or covered bed.
"Toll" means the compensation to be paid for the privilege of using a toll bridge or any portion thereof.
"Toll bridge" means any bridge under the jurisdiction of the authority for which a schedule of tolls has been adopted and is currently in effect.
"Truck" means any of numerous self-propelled vehicles designed and used for heavy hauling.
"Vehicle" means every device (motorized or non-motorized) in, upon, or by which any person or property is or may be transported or drawn upon a toll bridge.
"Wagon" means a vehicle without motive power that is designed to be pulled by a motor vehicle and is constructed so that no part of its weight rests on the towing vehicle.
