Section 681.810 - Restoration of Expired Certificatesa) An individual who fails to renew before August 1 of the expiration year, but whose certificate has been expired for less than 2 years, may have the certificate restored only upon payment of the $10 restoration fee required by Section 681.110(e), and a demonstration that the renewal training required by Section 681.815 has been completed.b) An individual seeking restoration of his or her expired certificate must also complete a renewal application form as required by Section 681.805 and pay the $10 renewal fee.c) A restored certificate expires on the same date the certificate would have expired if it was timely renewed.d) An individual whose certificate has been expired for 2 or more years must retake the water supply operator examination of competency, obtain a passing score on an examination, and submit a new application for a Certificate of Competency in order to be certified as a water supply operator.Ill.
