Section 350.40 - Exemptions

a) The following are exempt from the requirements of this Part:

1) Cabinet x-ray systems designed to exclude individuals, except that the systems must satisfy the provisions of Section 350.3050(c) of this Part, which apply specifically to cabinet x-ray systems; and

2) Lixiscopes used in industrial applications.

b) Devices exempted by subsection (a) of this Section are subject to the requirements of 32 Ill. Adm. Code 320 and 330 and other applicable provisions of 32 Ill. Adm. Code: Chapter II, Subchapters b and d.
