Section 24.34.01.003 - USE OF TITLES, ABBREVIATIONS, AND DESIGNATIONS FOR THE PRACTICE OF NURSINGOnly those persons who hold a license or privilege to practice nursing in this state shall have the right to use the following title abbreviations:
01.Title: "Registered Nurse" and the abbreviation "RN".02.Title: "Licensed Practical Nurse" and the abbreviation "LPN".03.Abbreviations. Only those persons who hold a license or privilege to practice advanced practice registered nursing in this state shall have the right to use the title "advanced practice registered nurse" and the roles of "certified registered nurse anesthetist," "certified nurse-midwife," "clinical nurse specialist" and "certified nurse practitioner," and the abbreviations "APRN," "CRNA," "CNM," "CNS" and "CNP," respectively.04.More Abbreviations.
