Section 18.04.13.055 - APPLICATION TO REENTER STATE01.Restrictions on Offering Individual Health Insurance. An individual carrier that has been banned from writing coverage for individuals in this state pursuant to Section 41-5207(2), Idaho Code, will not resume offering health benefit plans to individuals in this state until the carrier has made a petition to the Director to be reinstated as an individual carrier and the petition has been approved by the Director. In reviewing a petition, the Director may ask for such information and assurances as the Director finds reasonable and appropriate.02.Geographic Service Areas. In the case of an individual carrier doing business in an established geographic service area of the state, if the individual carrier elects to non-renew a health benefit plan under Section 41-5207(3), Idaho Code, the individual carrier is banned from offering health benefit plans to individuals in that service area for a period of five (5) years.Idaho Admin.
