Section 16.07.33.104 - CRISIS INTERVENTION SERVICESCrisis intervention services are available twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week to adults experiencing a mental health crisis as defined under Section 010 of these rules. Crisis intervention services include evaluation, assessment, intervention, stabilization, and follow-up planning.
01.Determination of the Need for Crisis Intervention Services. The Department or its contractors will assess an adult experiencing a mental health crisis to determine whether services are needed to alleviate the crisis.02.Identification of the Crisis Intervention Services Needed. If crisis intervention services are clinically necessary, as determined by the Department or its contractors, the Department or its contractors will:a. Identify the services needed to stabilize the crisis;b. Arrange for the provision of the crisis intervention services; andc. Document in the individual's record the crisis services that are to be provided to the individual.03.Immediate Intervention. If the Department determines that a mental health crisis exists necessitating immediate intervention, crisis services will be arranged immediately.Idaho Admin. Code r. 16.07.33.104
