If a Department employee is providing emergency health care off the Department's premises, health information may be disclosed if necessary to alert law enforcement to a crime; the location of the crime or victim; and the identity, description and location of the perpetrator. If the crime involves abuse, neglect or domestic violence, the requirements of Section 101 of this chapter apply. (3-17-22)
