Section 16.04.18.552 - PLANThere must be a plan for the solo component, and an individual solo plan for each child. The plans must be documented and approved to ensure that the children are not exposed to unreasonable risks. The plans must include:
01.Individual Solo Plan. The goals, methods, techniques to be used, and time frames will be listed for each participant and each individual plan will be reviewed with the child and signed and dated by the child and the designated staff member.02.Ability. There will be consideration of the maturity level, health, physical ability, and emotional state of the child.03.Preparation. The child will be instructed on the solo experience, including expectations, restrictions, communication, environment, and emergency procedures.04.Backup Plan. There will be documented instructions for a backup plan in case the child's plan does not work.05.Responsible Staff. A designated staff member will be responsible for coordination and implementation of the plan.Idaho Admin. Code r. 16.04.18.552
