Each child must have their own bed that has substantial support, and is age and size appropriate. Each bed must have a comfortable, clean mattress that complies with the Consumer Product Safety Commission standard for mattresses, cpsc.gov. Each child must have seasonally appropriate bedding. The bed must be equipped with railings when used for children under two (2) years old. Over-and-under bunk beds must not be used for children under eight (8) years old.
