Community crisis support may be authorized the following business day after the intervention if there is a documented need for immediate intervention, no other means of support are available, and the services are appropriate to rectify the crisis. Community crisis support is limited to a maximum of twenty (20) hours during any consecutive five (5) day period.
01.Emergency Room. Crisis services may be provided in an emergency room during the ER evaluation process if the goal is to prevent hospitalization and return the participant to the community.02.Before Plan Development. Community crisis support may be provided before or after the completion of the assessment and plan of service. If community crisis support is provided before the completion of the assessment and plan of service, the plan of service must include an identification of the factors contributing to the crisis and a strategy for addressing those factors in the future.03.Crisis Resolution Plan. After community crisis support has been provided, the provider of the community crisis support service must complete a crisis resolution plan and submit it to the Department for approval within five (5) business days of providing the service.Idaho Admin.
