Section 16.03.04.548 - COMPUTING THE SHELTER DEDUCTIONThe shelter deduction is computed as listed below:
01.If Household has Elderly or Disabled Member. The Department will deduct the monthly shelter cost exceeding fifty percent (50%) of the household's income after all other deductions.02.If Household has No Elderly or Disabled Member. The Department will deduct the excess of fifty percent (50%) of the household's income, after all other deductions, up to the maximum limit under Title 7 USC Section 2014.Idaho Admin.
