Section 16.02.14.192 - HEALTH AND SAFETY: LIFEGUARD REQUIREMENT01.When Lifeguards Are Required. Lifeguard(s) are required at any public swimming pool when:a. The numbers of bathers within the pool enclosure exceed thirty-five (35); andb. Children under the age of thirteen (13) are allowed to swim without adult supervision.02.When Lifeguards Are Not Required. When lifeguard services are not required, a warning sign must: a. Be placed in plain view for all swimmers;b. State, "WARNING NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY" with clearly legible letters at least four (4) inches in height; andc. Also state, "CHILDREN UNDER 13 YEARS OLD SHALL NOT USE THE FACILITY WITHOUT AN ADULT IN ATTENDANCE," and "DO NOT SWIM ALONE."Idaho Admin. Code r. 16.02.14.192
