Section 16.02.14.020 - SUBMISSION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS01.Plans. No person may construct or remodel any public pool until plans, specifications, and a plan review fee have been submitted, and the Director's designee has issued a letter of acceptance. Plans and specifications must be prepared by an architect or engineer licensed to practice in the state of Idaho. The architect or engineering plans, specifications and reports, must contain information sufficient to demonstrate the proposed pool is in compliance with these rules and certify the same. (3-15-22)02.Construction Compliance Certificate. The operator must submit, prior to public use of new facilities, a construction compliance certificate to the Director's designee. This certificate must: (3-15-22)a. Be prepared and signed by a professional engineer or architect licensed to practice in the state of Idaho; and (3-15-22)b. Include a statement that the pool and the related elements have been constructed in accordance with approved plans and specifications. (3-15-22)03.Stability. Pools must be designed and constructed to withstand all anticipated loadings for both full and empty conditions. A hydrostatic relief valve or other suitable means must be provided in areas having a high water table.
