If the specimen obtained from a horse is less than the minimum sample requirement, the entire specimen must be sent to the primary testing laboratory.03.More Than The Minimum. If a specimen obtained is greater than the minimum sample requirement, the portion of the sample that is greater than the minimum sample requirement may be secured as the split sample if proper storage capabilities exist.Idaho Admin.
