Section 11.04.01.434 - SAFETY EQUIPMENTAll Jockeys must wear the following safety equipment:
01.Helmet. When mounted, a fastened protective helmet approved by the Jockey Guild.02.Safety Vest. A safety vest when riding in any official or exhibition race that weighs no more than two (2) pounds, and is designed to provide shock absorbing protection to the upper body of at least a rating of five (5), as defined by the British Equestrian Trade Racing Association.Idaho Admin.
