A licensed Authorized Agent may perform on behalf of a licensed owner-principal all acts as relate to racing, as specified in the Racing Commission approved agency appointment, that could be performed by the principal if such principal were present. The acts of the Authorized Agent are deemed the acts of his licensed principal and the principal accepts responsibility for the Authorized Agent's acts.
01.Documents. In executing any document on behalf of the principal, the Authorized agent must clearly identify the Authorized Agent and the owner-principal.02.Ownership Disclosure. Authorized Agents are responsible for disclosure of the true and entire ownership of each horse for which they have authority. Any change in ownership must be reported immediately to, and approved by, the Board of stewards and recorded by the racing secretary.03.Entering a Claim. When an Authorized Agent enters a claim for the account of a principal, the name of the licensed Owner for whom the claim is being made and the name of the Authorized Agent must appear on the claim slip or card.Idaho Admin.
