Section 11.04.01.256 - PHOTO FINISH DEVICESRacing Associations must provide two (2) electronic photo finish devices with mirror image to photograph the finish of each race and record the time of each horse in at least hundredths of a second.
01.Location. The location and operation of the photo finish devices must be approved by the Racing Commission before its first use in a race.02.Posting Photographs. The Racing Association must promptly post a photograph of each photo finish for win, place or show in an area accessible to the public.03.Devices Calibrated. The Racing Association must ensure that the photo finish devices are calibrated before the first day of each race meet and at other times as required by the Racing Commission.04.Print Provided. On request by the Racing Commission, the Racing Association must provide, without cost, a print of a photo finish to the Racing Commission.05.Records. Photo finish records of each race must be maintained by the Racing Association for not less than six (6) months after the end of the race meet, or such other period as may be requested by the one of the stewards or the Racing Commission.Idaho Admin.
