A public hearing shall be held for a petition for rule relief considered by the state librarian. The hearing shall be at the time and place set forth in the notice of public hearing but at that time and place the hearing may be continued from day to day or adjourned to a later day or to a different place without notice other than the announcement at the hearing. The state librarian shall afford all interested persons an opportunity to present data, their views, or arguments, orally or in writing.
