Section 6-81-1 - Purpose of the rules

The purpose of this chapter is to adopt standards and procedures governing the implementation of the universal service fund for the State, pursuant to:

(1) Act 225, Session Laws of Hawaii 1995, enacted on June 29, 1995; and

(2) The Federal Telecommunications Act of 1996, enacted on February 8, 1996.
