Every motor carrier shall, upon request, furnish to the commission any information that the commission may require respecting any of the matters under the commission's jurisdiction, permit the commission or its authorized representative to examine its books, records, contracts, maps, and other documents, and furnish the commission with a complete inventory of its property in the forms as the commission may direct.
