Section 6-40-14 - Effect of payments to alternate payees upon death benefits

Payments made to alternate payees according to the terms of Hawaii domestic relations orders shall be payments received by the retirant, and benefit that the retirant received, for purposes of death benefits set forth at sections 88-83, 88-283, and 88-333, HRS.
