Section 5-31-32.3 - Referral for passport denial(a) The agency may request the federal Office of Child Support Enforcement to deny, revoke, or limit the passport of any non-custodial parent that owes arrearages equal to or greater than $2,500.(b) In cases where such requests are approved, passport privileges will not be restored unless the arrearages have been fully satisfied.(c) The administrator has the discretion to request the restoration of passport privileges when the non-custodial parent clearly demonstrates an inability to fully satisfy the arrearages owed and that exigent circumstances exist.[Eff and comp MAR 30 2014] (Auth: HRS § 576D-2) (Imp: HRS § 576D-2; 45 C.F.R. §303.6 )
