Section 4-70-10 - Prohibited introductions(a) The introduction of any sugarcane plant (any species of the genus saccharum) or part thereof into Hawaii in any manner is prohibited except by approved permit issued in accordance with § 4-70-11.(b) The introduction of plants of all other genus in the grass family and plant parts thereof is prohibited except: (1) Corn, sorghum, sudan grass, and broom corn which are regulated in subchapter 11;(2) Dried non-living plant materials;(4) By approved permit issued in accordance with § 4-70-11.[Eff.
