Section 3-160-38 - False name contributions prohibited(a) No person shall make a contribution in any name other than the true name of the owner of the money or the property.(b) False name contributions include but are not limited to: (1) Giving a contribution, all or part of which was provided to the contributor by another person (the true contributor) without disclosing the source of the contribution to the recipient candidate or committee at the time the contribution is made;(2) Making a contribution and attributing as the source of the contribution another person when in fact the contributor is the source; or(3) Compensating an employee, director, or contractor for a contribution, through a bonus, expense account, or other form of direct or indirect compensation.
