A recipient of a Hawaii student incentive grant, who for emergency or extraordinary reasons (as determined by the directors of financial aids, not including academic reasons) must leave the eligible institution during the academic year, will be considered for renewal of the grant for the semester in which the recipient re-enrolls as long as the recipient otherwise continues to be eligible and funds are available.
