A task force appointed by the director shall establish minimum requirements for driver education student curricula and recommend to the director the certification of driver education, simulator, and behind-the-wheel curricula. The director may certify such curricula. The task force shall be composed of a representative of the department of education, a public school driving instructor, a commercial driving school instructor, a county examiner of drivers, and the department. All curricula shall be reviewed by the department every five years to assure that they are relevant.
