Section 19-44-10 - Key deposit

When a tenant requires access to a space or area secured by a harbors division lock, a key shall be furnished; provided the person deposits the following amount with the division prior to receiving the key as security for prompt return of the key when access is no longer required:

(1) $33.00 if the access is required for a period of more than ninety days.

(2) $41.25 if the access is required for a period of less than ninety days.

The deposit shall be forfeited in the event the key is not returned to the division when access is no longer required.
