The awarding of a regular mooring permit entitles the owner to the use of a specific mooring or berthing facility identified by berth number and location. The permittee may occupy the assigned berth only with that vessel described in the permittee's application for mooring permit. In some berths, however, the department reserves the right to nest another vessel alongside provided no hazard is presented.
