Section 17-896-20 - Emergency care provisions(a) Every facility shall have in writing:(1) The name, address, and telephone number of a physician or health resource that shall be called in case of emergency; or(2) The .name of the nearest hospital or clinic where such care may be provided; and(3) Permission of the parent or guardian to call the stated physician or health resource, or the hospital or clinic, if the parent or guardian cannot be reached in case of a health emergency.(b) An adult shall accompany.a child to the source of emergency care. The adult shall'stay with-the child until the parent or parent's designee assumes responsibility for the child's care. The selection of the adult shall not compromise the supervision of the other children in the program.(c) Physical arrangements for children who become ill after arrival at the facility shall be available for the care of the child until parents or-guardians can be notified to provide alternative arrangements.
