Section 17-663-26 - Participant departure from the drug addiction or alcohol treatment and rehabilitation program(a) The drug addiction or alcohol treatment and rehabilitation program shall take the following actions when a participant leaves the treatment program: (1) Notify the branch within ten days of the date the departure becomes known to the treatment program;(2) Return the household's EBT card to the participant; and(3) Ensure that the household's EBT account is credited with the following amounts for the month of departure: (A) The full monthly food stamp allotment if no food stamp benefits have been spent on behalf of that individual household; or(B) One-half of the household's monthly food stamp allotment if any portion has been spent on behalf of the household and the household leaves the treatment program prior to the sixteenth day of the month; or(C) The household shall not be entitled to a credit to their EBT account if any portion of the monthly food stamp allotment has been spent on behalf of the household and the household leaves the treatment program on or after the sixteenth day of the month.(b) Once the household leaves the treatment program, the treatment program shall not act as that household's authorized representative.(c) The treatment program shall provide the household, if possible, with a change report form. The household shall use the form to report its new address and other circumstances after leaving the treatment program. The treatment program shall advise the household to return the form to the appropriate branch office within ten days.(d) When a resident leaves a treatment program without notifying the program, the treatment program should attempt to contact the resident.
