Section 17-1739-77 - Future redetermination of prospective payment rates(a) In future years, prospective payment rates for acute care facilities shall be established by trending forward the base year prospective payment rates by adjusting estimated to actuals and applying the projected inflation factor, as defined in section 17-1739-57, for the prospective payment year at the start of each fiscal year.(b) Reimbursement for capital related costs shall be computed annually as defined in section 17-1739-65(b).(c) The department shall recalculate the prospective payment rates periodically by reference to a new base year. This recalculation shall be performed at least once every five years, except under extraordinary circumstances.Haw. Code R. § 17-1739-77
