Section 17-1621-16 - Family responsibility for payment for state funded permanency assistance(a) The child's legally responsible parent(s) shall be required to contribute to the cost of the child's placement with the caregiver(s) in accordance with the financial ability of the parent(s).(b) The child's legally responsible parent(s) shall be referred to the child support enforcement agency.(c) Contributions from the legally responsible parent shall be made to the department as reimbursement for the cost of the state funded permanency assistance.Haw.
