Section 16-92-42 - Exceptions

Any licensee seeking restoration of license without full compliance with the continuing education requirements shall submit the restoration application, the required fees, a notarized affidavit setting forth the facts explaining the reasons for noncompliance, and a request to extend the time for compliance if good cause is shown. The board shall consider each case on an individual basis and may extend the time for compliance of the requirements based on the following:

(1) Health, as certified by a medical doctor currently licensed in accordance with chapter 453, HRS, or licensed in the state or jurisdiction in which the applicant was treated; or
(2) Military service on extended active duty with the armed forces of the United States.
