Section 16-74-37 - Maximum age

No boxer's license shall be granted or renewed where the applicant is over thirty-eight years of age, unless the applicant is able to demonstrate to the satisfaction of the commission that the applicant is physically fit to engage in boxing. Any applicant over thirty-eight years of age shall be subject to a complete physical examination which may include the following: neurological examinations, Computerized Axial Tomography (CAT) scan, electroencephalogram (EEG) examination, stress tests, and any other appropriate medical examinations recommended by the physician duly appointed by the commission to test the physical fitness of the applicant. Proof of age shall be established by birth certificate or other documentary evidence.
