Section 16-74-344 - Insurance coverage

All persons, clubs, organizations or associations conducting amateur boxing shows, exhibitions or contests shall provide accident insurance coverage for all boxers competing in their shows. Insurance coverage for all boxers competing shall provide for reimbursement to the boxer for medical, surgical and hospital care in excess of $10 up to a total of $500 and maximum dental expenses of $100. In event of accidental death, $1,000 shall be paid to the estate of the deceased boxer. The cost of the premiums shall be paid by the sponsors conducting the boxing show or exhibition or contests.
