Section 16-74-242 - Winner matching

It is provided, however, that should the club desire to match a boxer with the winner of an ensuing contest, this may be done by writing in the space reserved for the opponent's name, as follows: "(Name) or (name) or the winner of their contest on (date)." In signing the opponent in this case the club may sign both principals in the said ensuing contest, and with the consent of all parties to the contract, have written in their official contracts the provision: "This contract at the option of the club may be declared null and void if the boxer loses the contest with (name of opponent) on (date), and may be declared null and void at the pleasure of the club in event of a 'draw' decision, or a decision of 'no decision'.
