Section 16-71-46 - ExceptionsThe board may issue a permit to practice to any applicant who has not fully complied with the continuing professional education requirement in cases where failure by the applicant to fulfill the requirement has been caused by reason of:
(1) Health, as certified by a medical doctor;(2) Military service on extended active duty with the armed forces of the United States; or(3) Other good and valid causes, as determined and approved by the board.
