A water carrier that changes its legal name without a change in ownership or control shall immediately notify the commission in writing of the change and shall amend its tariffs to show the new name of the company. The water carrier shall immediately provide written notification of the name change to all agents who have issued tariffs in which the water carrier participates, and the agents shall promptly amend the tariffs to change the name of the water carrier. The tariff change must show the new name of the water carrier and its former name; for example: "ABC Transportation, Inc. (formerly XYZ Water Carrier Co.)."
