Section 16-114-94 - Records and appraisal report retention requirement
(a) Every licensed or certified appraiser shall retain originals or true copies of appraisal contracts, appraisals, and all supporting data and documents for a period of five years.
(b) The five-year period shall commence upon date of delivery of the appraisal report to the client provided that if the appraiser is notified that the appraisal or appraisal report is involved in litigation, the five-year period shall commence upon the date of the final disposition of the litigation.
(c) The appraiser shall make all records available, upon request, to the director or the director's authorized delegate.
