Section 15-308-62 - Occupancy guidelines for rental units

(a) The following occupancy guidelines may be used for rental units when the number of applicants exceeds the number and types of units available:

Dwelling Unit Size	Preferred Household Size
0 Bedroom	1 person
1 Bedroom	2 persons
2 Bedroom	3 persons
3 Bedroom	4 persons
4 Bedroom	5 persons

(b) The maximum household size is based on prevailing county housing, zoning, building, health and fire codes, or in the absence thereof, the housing code of the city and county of Honolulu.
