Section 15-215-2 - Purpose(a) The rules carry out, through complete, integrated, effective and concise land development regulations, the vision and concepts of the Kalaeloa master plan ("KMP") by classifying and regulating the types and intensities of development and land uses within the Kalaeloa CDD consistent with, and in furtherance of, the policies and objectives of the KMP and chapter 206E, Hawaii Revised Statutes ("HRS").(b) The rules are adopted to protect and promote the public health, safety, and general welfare of the community and to protect and preserve places and areas of historical, cultural, architectural, or environmental importance and significance, as set forth in the KMP and chapter 206E, HRS.
