The energy resources coordinator or "coordinator" is the director of the department of business, economic development, and tourism. The powers and duties of the energy resources coordinator are contained in sections 196-4 and 201N-3, HRS. The energy resources coordinator has sole discretion regarding the acceptance and approval of a renewable energy facility permit plan.
