Section 15-15-58 - Procedure for witnesses(a) The commission may subpoena witnesses as set forth in section 15-15-69.(b) Together with other witnesses that the commission may desire to hear at the hearing, the commission shall also allow a representative of a citizen or community group to testify, who indicates a desire to express the views of those citizen or community group concerning the proposed boundary amendment. Anyone who desires to testify shall make written application to be a witness prior to the hearing and, if the person desires to express the views of a citizen or community group, shall submit written evidence to show that the person is a duly authorized representative of the citizen or community group.(c) The presiding officer shall place witnesses under oath or affirmation prior to testifying.[Eff 10/27/86; am and comp 8/16/97; comp MAY 08 2000] (Auth: HRS §§ 205-1, 205-7) (Imp: HRS §§ 91-2, 205-4)Am and comp 11/2/2013; comp 10/18/2019
