Section 15-106-27 - Continuances or extensions of time

Whenever a person is required to take action within the period prescribed or allowed by this chapter, by notice given under this chapter, or by an order, the authority may:

(1) With or without notice, extend the period before the expiration of the prescribed period; or
(2) Upon motion, permit the act to be done after the expiration of the specified period where the failure to act is excusable.
