All wells, except observation wells, shall be logged with an induction electrical log, or other approved log from total depth to the bottom of the conductor pipe before installing casing, except in the case where air is used as the drilling medium. This requirement may vary from area to area, depending upon the amount of subsurface geological or hydrological data available and may not be required from total depth of the well under certain conditions, subject to the approval of the chairperson.
