Section 13-130-29 - Conflicts between transportation modes(a) On a program trail or access where multiple modes of transportation are allowed, motorized vehicles shall yield the right of way to all other modes of transport; non-motorized vehicles, including mountain bikes and other bicycles, shall yield to equestrians and pedestrians; pedestrians shall yield to equestrians.(b) The department may also post rules or mark trails to indicate additional rights-of-way, lanes, areas of management, use, or other means to separate or otherwise address the potential conflicts between transportation modes and mitigate adverse effects on the safety, use, and enjoyment of the trail by all users.[Eff. ] (Auth: HRS § 198D-6) (Imp: HRS § 198D-6)
