Section 13-126-24 - Paleontological, archaeological and historical features

No person shall appropriate, damage, remove, excavate, disfigure, deface, or destroy paleontological objects, objects of antiquity, prehistoric ruins and monuments; provided, however, that the board or its authorized representative may permit qualified persons or institutions to examine ruins, excavate archaeological sites and gather objects of antiquity in accordance with chapter 6E, Hawaii Revised Statutes.
