Section 13-234-29 - Vessel inspection fee

For a vessel inspection performed by the department prior to the issuance or reissuance of a regular mooring permit, there shall be a non-refundable fee of forty dollars for each vessel to be inspected. The inspection shall be valid for two years. A vessel owner shall make an appointment with a harbor agent of the department not less than five working days prior to the date that the vessel is to be inspected. A fee of twenty dollars shall be charged if notice of cancellation by the vessel owner is not given to the harbor agent prior to the scheduled inspection. The inspection fee for vessels exempt from numbering pursuant to section 13-241-2 and for open skiffs and dinghies less than thirteen feet in length shall be ten dollars.
