Section 13-231-16 - Numbers or other vessel identification

Owners of vessels required by law to be documented or numbered shall document or number their boats prior to obtaining a mooring permit. Owners of vessels not required by law or regulation to be documented or numbered shall, prior to obtaining a mooring permit, affix the boat's name, the owner's name, or the name of the vessel to which it is attached, in letters not smaller than three inches in height and in a color which contrasts with the background so as to be clearly visible for identification. Transient vessels are exempt from the provisions of this section.
