Section 12-46-82 - Disposition(a) The commission, within the time permitted by chapter 91, HRS, shall either deny the petition further consideration, or initiate public rulemaking procedures in accordance with this subchapter and chapter 91, HRS.(b) Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the commission may deny any petition which: (1) Fails to substantially conform with the requirements of section 12-46-81;(2) Discloses no sufficient reasons justifying the institution of public rulemaking procedures; or[Eff 12/31/90] (Auth: HRS §§ 91-6, 368-3) (Imp: HRS §§ 91-6, 368-3)
